Maritime operators, data scientists, and engineers who have spent careers at the intersection of ocean industry and modern analytics.
The people driving Cetasol's mission to modernize maritime intelligence
Ethan spent a decade designing vessel routing systems for North Sea offshore supply chains before founding Cetasol in 2019. He holds a Master's in Ocean Engineering from DTU and an MBA from MIT Sloan.
Sofia leads Cetasol's engineering and data infrastructure. Previously VP of Engineering at a Copenhagen maritime software firm, she specializes in distributed systems for real-time telemetry at scale.
Marco oversees platform development and integrations, including Cetasol's AIS data pipeline and sensor SDK. He brings 12 years of experience building IoT and telemetry systems for industrial applications.
The principles that guide how we build and how we work
Built by engineers who've worked on ship bridges and in port operations centers. We understand the real operational constraints of the industry we serve.
Every feature backed by real fleet performance data from 50,000+ vessel voyages. We don't guess at what fleet operators need — we measure it.
We optimize for what matters: fuel savings, compliance, and safety outcomes. Analytics only have value when they drive decisions in the real world.
